About

The Work:

That's shaped by where I've done the work. Most of my career has been in agency and consulting environments, working across technology, real estate, healthcare, agriculture, and retail. Different industries, different challenges, same core requirement: build smart strategies that actually deliver results.

Across those years I've worked in marketing strategy, paid media, SEO, growth, and analytics. What connects all of it is a consistent approach: start with the data, understand what it's telling you, and make deliberate decisions from there. I've managed large media budgets, led teams, and worked directly with senior stakeholders across the private and public sector.

The work I find most valuable tends to be the hardest to template. The brief that doesn't fit the playbook, the market that doesn't behave as expected, the client who needs a real answer rather than a familiar one.

How I think about marketing:

There is almost always a solution. That's not optimism, it's experience. Budgets get cut, platforms change, audiences shift. The job is to adapt without losing sight of the objective.
Marketing is also most effective when it's driven by genuine curiosity about people, not just what they click but why they decide. The campaigns that hold up over time are built on the clearest understanding of the audience.

This blog started as a way to think out loud about where the industry is heading, and to be honest about what's signal and what's noise. Most of what gets written about marketing trends is either too early to be useful or too late to be interesting. I'm trying to find the space in between: the ideas worth paying attention to now, before they become obvious.
